Wallpaper - Scintilla, Dry Moss

Our Scintilla, Dry Moss wallpaper brings together gentle, organic movement with a muted earthy palette. Across a backdrop of dry moss green and subtle khaki tones, fine stippled clusters and soft flowing drifts create a quiet visual texture that shifts gently across the wall. The low-contrast composition gives the design an understated rhythm without overwhelming the room, making it easy to live with across larger spaces. Like all our wallpapers, it is custom made to your specific wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

Because the contrast is soft and the repeat flows seamlessly, we see this wallpaper working beautifully across all four walls in a bedroom, living room, or study. Rather than demanding attention as an isolated feature wall, it provides a cohesive, enveloping backdrop that feels grounded and calm. In a hallway or dining area, the gentle horizontal drifts help visually connect adjoining spaces, while generous daylight reveals the fine dotting and subtle tonal variations woven through the mossy base.

Styling it

We would pair this design with warm natural timber, such as mid-tone oak or walnut, to complement the earthy undertones of the print. Low-profile furniture with clean, relaxed silhouettes lets the subtle movement of the wallpaper stay visible. For soft furnishings, heavier woven fabrics like boucl\u00e9, slubbed linen, or brushed cotton in cream, stone, or warm charcoal add tactile contrast without competing with the pattern. Matte black or antique brass accents in lighting and hardware also ground the overall scheme nicely.

Colour combinations

The palette centres on soft moss green, warm olive, and muted brownish-khaki undertones. When choosing colours for surrounding walls, woodwork, and ceilings, we suggest leaning into warm off-whites, chalky stone, or pale biscuit shades to keep the atmosphere light and balanced. If you prefer a richer, more cocooning environment, deep forest green, dark peat, or rich charcoal on adjacent trim and doors draw out the deeper shadows within the pattern.
