Wallpaper - Scintilla, Dune

Our Scintilla, Dune wallpaper pairs a subtle, undulating wave pattern with delicate stippling and soft, warm neutral tones. Designed in-house by Wallism Studio, the visual composition brings to mind gentle sand drifts or soft mineral strata, blending pale beige, warm stone, and creamy off-white into an understated, flowing horizontal rhythm. The fine pointillist speckling adds visual depth across the surface without overwhelming the wall with heavy contrast. Made-to-measure to fit your wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical texture, this wallpaper provides an airy, grounded backdrop that enriches a room with quiet movement.

In the room

Because the contrast across Scintilla, Dune is intentionally low and fluid, this is one of our mural wallpapers that works effortlessly across an entire room as well as on a focused accent wall. In a bedroom, wrapping all four walls in this design creates an enveloping, calm backdrop that catches shifting daylight across its fine stippled detailing. The gentle horizontal drift also flatters living rooms and dining areas, where longer uninterrupted walls give the soft swells and wave contours room to develop naturally without competing with artwork or everyday furniture.

In more compact settings such as hallways, studies, or dressing rooms, the delicate scale of the pattern prevents the space from feeling enclosed. The neutral palette keeps wall surfaces open and light, while the visual movement ensures the walls never feel flat or unconsidered.

Styling it

When styling around Scintilla, Dune, we recommend playing with textural contrast rather than introducing bold, clashing patterns. The soft, stone-like warmth of the wallpaper pairs beautifully with natural wood, whether you lean towards pale ash and white-oiled oak for an airy, contemporary feel, or deeper walnut furniture to give the room an anchor.

For textiles and upholstery, simple woven fabrics such as unbleached cotton, bouclé, and soft woollen throws echo the organic visual grain of the print. Matte black metal accents, oil-rubbed bronze, or brushed brass hardware provide clean structural lines that contrast neatly against the wallpaper's flowing, wave-like forms.

Colour combinations

The palette within our Scintilla, Dune wallpaper is built around warm, earthy pale neutrals, including soft dune beige, warm parchment, oatmeal, and faint chalky taupe.

When choosing paint colours for surrounding woodwork, skirting, or adjoining walls, we suggest matching the paper's undertone with warm off-whites, plaster pinks, or pale stone greys rather than stark, blue-toned whites. If you want to introduce contrasting accents elsewhere in the room, muted earth tones such as warm terracotta, deep olive green, or soft charcoal complement the neutral base while keeping the overall atmosphere refined and harmonious.
