Wallpaper - Scintilla, Peat

Our Scintilla, Peat wallpaper features a rich, deep peat brown surface enriched with fine stippled detailing and soft, organic tonal movement. The low-contrast composition creates a gentle, cloudy visual texture that brings warmth and quiet depth to a space without overwhelming the room with sharp graphic lines. Designed by Wallism Studio, this mural wallpaper offers an understated backdrop that works beautifully across full rooms or focused feature walls. Like all our wallpapers, it is made-to-measure to your specific wall dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure.

In the room

In a living room or bedroom, we love how this design wraps the space in a grounded, enveloping atmosphere. Because the visual texture is subtle and continuous, it avoids harsh breaks, making it exceptionally versatile across multiple adjoining walls or long, uninterrupted expanses. In a dining room or a dedicated home study, the deep earthy brown creates an intimate backdrop that responds gracefully to shifting light conditions, revealing fine tonal nuances under focused evening lamps and daytime light alike.

Styling it

To complement the rich, earthy depth of Peat, we suggest pairing it with warm wood tones such as walnut or smoked oak. The organic visual texture balances clean-lined contemporary furniture as effortlessly as mid-century silhouettes. Incorporating tactile textiles like bouclé, brushed wool, or crisp off-white linen creates a fresh, inviting material contrast against the deeper wall surface. Subtle brushed brass hardware or matte black metal accents can provide quiet definition without distracting from the calm, continuous flow of the wall mural.

Colour combinations

Our Peat design is anchored in deep, warm brown tones with delicate espresso and earthy umber nuances. For surrounding skirtings, ceilings, or adjacent walls, we like pairing this design with warm chalky neutrals, soft taupes, and creamy off-whites that lift the room while respecting the design's natural warmth. If you prefer a richer tonal scheme, surrounding surfaces in caramel, muted olive, or rich terracotta harmonise beautifully with the wallpaper's undertones.
