Wallpaper - Ginko Folly, Forest

Our Ginko Folly, Forest wallpaper pairs an elegant Art Deco scalloped fan structure with the delicate botanical line work of ginkgo leaves. Rendered in deep forest green and soft off-white, the repeating fan motifs create a rhythmic, orderly pattern across the wall while maintaining an airy, organic feel through fine vein detailing. We produce our wallpapers made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface texture, making it straightforward to introduce a tailored, decorative character to your interior.

In the room

The balanced geometry and continuous scale make this design wonderfully versatile across a variety of spaces. In a living room or dining area, we see it working beautifully across all four walls to create an enveloping, sophisticated atmosphere, where the rhythmic repeat brings architecture and visual structure to the room. It also functions exceptionally well on an accent wall behind a bed or framing a seating area, offering a focal point that feels composed rather than overwhelming.

For smaller rooms such as an entryway, hallway, or study, the scalloped motif brings immediate personality without crowding the space. Because the repeat is regular and structured, it moves effortlessly around doorframes, windows, and built-in joinery without losing its visual coherence.

Styling it

To complement the rich architectural quality of this pattern, we suggest balancing it with considered furniture choices and warm accents:

• Pair the deep green palette with warm wood furniture, such as mid-tone oak or rich walnut, which highlights the natural botanical inspiration of the ginkgo leaves.
• Introduce understated metallic accents in warm brass or brushed bronze through lighting fixtures, mirrors, or hardware to pick up on the subtle Art Deco elegance of the scalloped arches.
• Keep larger upholstered pieces and curtains in simple, neutral textured fabrics to let the wall pattern remain the primary graphic feature of the room.

Colour combinations

The foundation of our wallpaper combines a rich, dark forest green with a crisp yet gentle off-white outline. To build a cohesive room scheme around it, you can pull these exact tones into your surrounding woodwork, choosing a soft chalky white or muted cream for skirting boards, doors, and ceilings.

If you prefer a deeper, more atmospheric look, colour-drenching adjacent trim or cabinetry in a matching deep olive or dark moss green creates a seamless, grounded aesthetic. For decorative accents and textiles, earthy ochre, soft taupe, and muted stone tones sit naturally alongside the green without competing with the motif.
