Wallpaper - Ginko Folly, Oyster

Our Ginko Folly wallpaper in Oyster brings a rhythmic, Art Deco-inspired scallop motif together with the delicate botanical linework of ginkgo leaves. Rendered in soft neutral tones of warm beige, oyster, and taupe, the design forms an interlocking fan pattern that creates an orderly visual flow across the wall. The fine radiating veins within each fan add subtle surface detail without overwhelming the eye. Made to measure for your wall dimensions, this PVC-free wallpaper features a light structure in the paper that gives the finished installation a balanced, refined backdrop.

In the room

Because the scale is moderate and the repeat is neatly structured, this design adapts comfortably to both large and compact spaces. In a hallway or entryway, the upward arched movement gives walls a sense of height and continuous rhythm. We also see this working especially well across all four walls in a bedroom or dining room, where the gentle contrast creates an enveloping backdrop that does not compete with your everyday furniture. The soft oyster palette responds gracefully to changing daylight, looking airy and clean in morning light while turning cosier and warmer under soft evening lamps.

Styling it

We would pair this botanical geometric pattern with understated, elegant furnishings to let the rhythmic motif stand out. Mid-century silhouettes and warm wood finishes, such as walnut or mid-toned oak, complement the subtle 1920s undertone of the arches. In a living room or study, brushed brass or antique bronze accents in lighting and hardware echo the warm undertones of the taupe lines. Keeping surrounding fabrics simple and textured—like bouclé, wool, or matte weaves—helps balance the precision of the repeating fan shapes.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper is built upon soft oyster, warm cream, and muted taupe-brown outlines. To create a seamless look, pair it with off-white or light stone shades on adjacent walls, woodwork, and ceilings. If you prefer deeper contrast, rich earthy hues such as espresso brown, deep charcoal, or warm olive on cabinetry and accent furniture draw out the darker linework while keeping the overall palette grounded.
