Wallpaper - Ginko Folly, Oxblood Rose

Our Ginko Folly wallpaper in Oxblood Rose combines an Art Deco scalloped geometry with the delicate silhouette of ginkgo leaves. Deep, rich oxblood tones form the fan-shaped foliage, defined by fine line work and set against a soft, dusty rose background. The geometric repeat creates an elegant, structured rhythm across the wall, giving classic botanical motifs a distinctly architectural feel. Printed as a made-to-measure, PVC-free wall mural with a subtle structure in the paper, this design brings sophisticated warmth and graphic character to both modern and vintage-inspired interiors.

In the room

We love how the orderly, fan-like rhythm brings structure to intimate spaces as well as larger rooms. In a dining room or bedroom, the rich oxblood and muted rose tones create an enveloping, refined atmosphere, working beautifully across all four walls or as an elegant backdrop behind a bed or sideboard. Because the repeat is balanced and graphic rather than overwhelming, it sits comfortably in narrower hallways and entryways, where the upward sweep of the ginkgo fans adds a sense of height.

In rooms with softer daylight or warm evening lamps, the tonal contrast between the deep burgundy and muted rose becomes particularly cosy and grounded. The pattern remains legible even when partially framed by furniture, making it a versatile choice for living rooms with low-profile seating or tailored credenzas.

Styling it

To complement the Art Deco undertones of this design, we suggest pairing it with warm, mid-to-dark wood furniture such as walnut or stained oak. The clean curves of the motif also pair naturally with subtle metallic accents, where antique brass or brushed bronze lighting can echo the vintage elegance of the geometric fans.

When choosing surrounding textiles, matte, tactile fabrics in dusky blush, muted plum, or soft charcoal help ground the room without competing with the wallpaper's graphic line work. Keeping larger upholstery relatively plain allows the geometric rhythm of the wall to take centre stage.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper is built on deep oxblood, rich wine tones, and soft rose. When choosing colours for surrounding walls, woodwork, or cabinetry, we suggest pulling directly from these tones or introducing gentle contrasts:

• Muted rose and dusty pink for adjacent walls or ceilings to create a seamless, tonal palette.
• Deep burgundy, mahogany, or rich berry tones on skirting boards, doors, or built-in joinery for a dramatic, coordinated look.
• Warm off-white or soft parchment to introduce fresh, crisp contrast while maintaining the overall warmth of the room.
• Muted olive or moss green as an earthy accent in cushions or decorative ceramics, offering a natural complementary pairing with oxblood.
