Wallpaper - Ginko Folly, Burnt Sienna

Our Ginko Folly wallpaper brings together an Art Deco inspired fan motif with the delicate structure of ginkgo biloba leaves. Rendered in a rich burnt sienna and warm beige palette, the design uses a rhythmic, interlocking scallop repeat with fine linear veins radiating through each leaf. The balanced contrast and architectural symmetry give the pattern an elegant, tailored presence across the wall. Produced as made-to-measure mural wallpapers printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, this design is simple to hang and creates a refined, decorative focal point.

In the room

We especially like this wallpaper for spaces where you want a structured yet organic pattern. In a dining room or living room, the repetitive scallop geometry creates a sense of order while the botanical leaf detailing softens the overall look. The medium-scale repeat works well across a main feature wall behind a sofa or dining table, but it also carries enough visual coherence to wrap around an entire room or hallway without feeling overwhelming. In an entryway or home office, the vertical stacking of the fans helps draw the eye upward, giving walls a grounded, tailored backdrop.

Styling it

To complement the geometric rhythm of the motif, we would pair this design with mid-century or classic furniture featuring clean lines and warm wood tones. Darker woods such as walnut or stained oak echo the deep burnt sienna shade, while subtle brass or warm metallic hardware highlights the Art Deco aesthetic. Keep upholstery in plain, tactile fabrics like woven wool or matte cotton to let the fine line work of the wallpaper remain the centre of attention.

Colour combinations

The pattern centres on deep burnt sienna brown paired with soft, sandy beige lines and background accents. When decorating around it, we recommend drawing out the warm undertones with creamy off-white, warm taupe, or soft biscuit on woodwork and neighbouring walls. For a deeper, more enveloping scheme, neighbouring elements in rich chocolate, warm terracotta, or muted espresso harmonize naturally with the leaf silhouettes.
